The Stigma
I'm here to tell you, men, it doesn't have to be that way. Spas and nail shops are seeing more and more men come in for pedicures. The process doesn't just focus on toenails. They do it all. Nails, cuticle, shaving, sanding and polishing dead skin and callouses. The last part being softening oil and a massage. The chairs even have massagers built in. For a working man's feet all this can make a world of difference.
The Benefit
The better shape your feet are in, the better you will feel overall. Bad feet can affect your legs and back and once your back starts to get bad you know its hard to recover from that. Your feet feel absolutely great afterwards, lighter, softer and a lot of the soreness will go away. The more dead skin builds on your feet the more it will push against the flesh and muscles or your feet. With the skin removed the pressure will be relieved thus leading your feet to go back to a natural shape.
The Cost
The cost shouldn't be a barrier either, most pedicures will range in price of about 25-35 dollars. Depending on your job it may only have to be done twice a year. If you have a really physical job like construction then go more frequently. You are ultimately the judge of when you need it but if you have a big build-up of dry skin on your heels then it might be time to go. The results are well worth the money.
The only other option is for a man's wife or girlfriend to give a message. Some great women out there are ok with this, many are not. So don't even try and put your wife through that misery because she wont tolerate it for long.
The bottom line for men is, if you can get past the stigma attached to it you can have a great, inexpensive experience that will improve your life and health drastically.
